danganronpa: trigger happy havoc
complete the game
hello, welcome to my game log!! here i keep track of my collection, write my reviews and thoughts, and try to tackle my backlog. i have the problem of never completing the games i start, so hopefully this page helps me with that...
to be honest, i don't really know what my favorite genres are... i usually like easy games with some sort of story, but i also like rhythm games, so i don't think i have a favorite genre or type of game. i know which genres i dislike, though: fighting (i'm terrible at them) and gacha (even if i like genshin).
persona 4 golden (vita)
danganronpa: trigger happy havoc (vita, replaying)
norn9 (vita)

important: please don't take these reviews seriously! i'm bad at writing my thoughts + i have questionable taste in games.

what a cute game... if i was making one of those "cozy game recommendations" videos i would definitely include tearaway. the bright papercraft visuals and lack of punishment when you die makes it feel like a game for children, but in a good way! relaxing game that you can turn off your brain while playing.
before starting this, i thought that the controls and overall game would feel gimmicky and awkward, since it uses all the vita's extra features (cameras, touchpads, etc), but it felt pretty natural actually! looking at my face in the sun was funny.
i believe this is a game you should take your time and try to collect as much as you can on your first playthrough, otherwise it will feel very short. replaying the levels to collect all extra stuff was still fun, but not as fun as the first time.
overall, tearway is a charming game i would recommend to anyone who owns a ps vita :D

the gigantic list list of games i need to complete...
my parents gave me my 3ds in 2013, i think. i had played on my brother's wii and ds before, but this was my first own console!! in my opinion, no other console is as charming and full of personality as the 3ds. the menu, the customization, the mascots in every app, the music and sounds... handheld gaming peaked here, even if the 3ds is not my favorite.
i bought this ps vita in the beginning of 2024 for a really good price on mercari japan!! even if this is my most recently bought console, it quickly became my favorite. the interface is a little ugly, but i absolutely love playing games on it! the size is perfect and the screen is really nice even if the model i own does not have an oled screen. on top of all that, it's SO EASY to mod! takes 5 minutes and you don't need a computer. thanks tiktok for influencing me, i ended up genuinely loving it.
after we sold our wii u (i miss it), my parents gave me a nintendo switch in 2018. it's the "v1" version, which means i could easily mod it, but i'm too scared of getting banned from playing online... basically i own a worse version and it's not even modded. i still like it though. i think the switch is a boring console, it has no themes, music or anything to give it personality, but the actual games are nice.
